Diary Entry #1

You can only be defeated if you accept the failure. 

Along with our class readings, discussions, and literature circles, we will be participating in posting to our class blog. All of Mrs. Gray's English 4 classes will have access to this blog. Make sure that when you are posting you have LOGGED IN under the blogspot.com website and that your name is visible under your post.

Each student will be required to keep a portfolio. This portfolio will consist of comprehension questions, literature circle roles, and more. 

One definite addition will be "Diary Entries" to the blog. Over the course of the book, each student will be responsible for posting at least FOUR diary entries. The title of these posts should be labeled as "Diary Entry #" (followed by designated entry #). Please refer to this post's title as a sample.

Diary Entries must be (at minimum) THREE paragraphs long. Each paragraph must consist of FIVE to SEVEN sentences. The themes of these entries are completely open to each student as they individually desire. (Please keep in mind the school and Mrs. Gray's ethics and standards. If you wish to submit an entry anonymously feel free to speak to Mrs. Gray personally). 

Other requirements for these entries will be discussed in class.
