I think that with this story is about a 15 year old girl who is experiencing hormonal issues. She feels that  no one cares. So far in the book she is excited about having a new diary to write her feeling to. She refers to her diary as almost like a person. She and her family eventually move and her father becomes a dean to a college. Later through out the book she ends up seeing one of her old class mates while visiting her gran and grandpa. Her "friend" has a party and accidentally she ends up taking LSD. Then she sees a guy and ends up taking more drugs then what was expected.
